The Online Citizen is an independent civil society organisation and media platform covering Singapore's political and public affairs landscape. Operating from Taiwan through Miao Yi Infotech Ltd, we combine original reporting with public record work, parliamentary monitoring, and civil society advocacy — including participation in the UN Universal Periodic Review process in Geneva.

Support here goes directly toward PoliticalSG.com and projects currently in our pipeline — and not toward the operations of The Online Citizen or its current subsidiary publications. TOC and its associated platforms have accumulated a substantial regulatory history. In managing our operations responsibly, we are directing supporter funds toward work that is operationally separate and forward-looking.

PoliticalSG.com is a separate platform focused on public record work, archiving, and political accountability. It is not TOC and it is not a TOC subsidiary. This page is not used to fund any platform designated as a Declared Online Location (DOL) or any platform carrying equivalent regulatory risk.
