Coming this January 2023, Let's Doula This, Baby is a 7-week immersion into the ebbs and flows of new parenthood that centers the birthing parent. It is suited ideally to those currently in the thick of the 4th Trimester (up to 4 months postpartum). Having said this though, this course is also great preparation for those currently pregnant in their 3rd trimester and who are wanting to prepare for what's to come.
This course delves deep into the common physical, emotional, social, and psychological changes a new baby brings. It’s packed with info on how a birthing parent can support themselves as well as how their partners can support them, and how they can set up their support structure and galvanize their community.
It will be divided into 7 modules over 7 weeks where each session will comprise a learning/ coaching session exploring various topics and subjects. At the end of each session, we have a group discussion with the opportunity to share and ask questions. Although the focus is on the birthing parent/ mother, partners are welcome and in fact encouraged to join in Week 5 where we talk about the changing dynamics of relationships.
When: Every Sunday 7.30pm- 9pm
Where: Online via Zoom
Dates: 15 Jan 2023 – 26 Feb 2023
Cost: Full price is $240 but this option is for those who'd like to budget and split their payments. 50% payment of $120 (first payment made when choosing this option, the second payment will be loaded by our last session on 26 Feb).
Scholarships: This course is limited to 15ppl but there is an opportunity for 2 birthing people who wouldn’t be able to pay the full price to join at no cost. Please get in touch to find out more.
What’s included? A whats app support group for the duration of the course. Daily check-ins and weekly journal prompts.
