Velocity Frequent Flyer has launched a limited-time double points promotion for members who activate the offer in the Velocity app and book eligible Virgin Australia flights.
The Offer
Activate the promotion in the Velocity app, then book an eligible Virgin Australia flight by 11:59 pm AEST, 18 November 2025, for travel up to 6 October 2026, and you’ll earn double Velocity Points on your booking.
Eligible flights include:
Domestic Virgin Australia services
Trans-Tasman routes (Australia–New Zealand)
Short-haul international flights operated and marketed by Virgin Australia
If the flight normally earns Velocity Points, it qualifies. There’s no limit to how many times you can take advantage of this offer, so you can maximise your points across multiple trips.

Activate the offer in the Velocity app before booking.
Book between 10 November and 18 November 2025 (AEST).
Travel by 6 October 2026.
Bonus points will be credited within four weeks of each eligible flight.
Applies to new bookings only — existing bookings made before the promotion are not eligible.
Reward Seat bookings and codeshare flights with partner airlines do not qualify.
Example
A Sydney–Melbourne flight that would usually earn 1,000 Velocity Points will now earn 2,000 Points instead, simply by activating the offer and booking through the app.
Terms Summary
To qualify, the flight must be both marketed and operated by Virgin Australia and normally accrue Velocity Points. Bonus points are earned on the originally purchased fare class. Upgrades that were not purchased at full fare will not attract the bonus. Only passengers who activate the offer and meet all eligibility criteria will receive double points.
