From 1 October 2025, Accor Plus will officially transform into ALL Accor+ Explorer. The rebrand isn’t just cosmetic — it brings a mix of enhanced perks and policy changes that will impact how members use their benefits.
Whether you’re a long‑time member or considering joining for the first time, here’s what’s changing — and whether it’s a win or a loss for you.
What are the Changes?
The Good News — Why It’s Better
Double the free nights: Going from 1 to 2 Stay Plus nights is a huge win — if you can meet the new minimum 2‑night stay rule.
Global hotel discounts: 15% off now applies worldwide, not just in Asia Pacific.
Easier status progression: 30 bonus nights plus instant Gold Status means faster access to Platinum and beyond.
Simplified dining & drinks discounts: No more sliding scale or multiple cards — you know you’ll get 30% off food for up to 10 guests, and the 15% off drinks across Asia Pacific bars and restaurants (including Australia).
The Bad News — Why It’s Worse for Some
Free night now has strings attached: The new 2‑night minimum means you can’t just book a single free night anymore. For solo travellers or short city breaks, this makes the perk harder to use.
Dining discount reduced: The old sliding scale meant couples could save up to 50% on food — now it’s a flat 30% regardless of party size
People Who Dont Order Drinks when Dining: If you are one that doesn't order wine or drinks with your meal, than this is bad news as your dining discount has been reduced by 20%
Couples Dining in Asian Countries: When dining in Asian countries as a couple, you currently enjoy 50% off food and 15% off drinks (with most restaurants adding service charges and taxes after the discount). From 1 October 2025, this drops to 30%, making it less appealing for two people.
However, if you’re travelling with a larger group and only have one membership card, the flat 30% discount for up to 10 diners is still a solid saving.
No more stacking hotel discounts: The 15% global discount can’t be combined with Accor’s frequent public sales or the ALL Member Rate, removing some flexibility.
The Stay Plus Transition Rules
If you’ve already booked your Stay Plus night before 1 October 2025, your booking will be honoured.
If you cancel it on or before 30 September, it will be credited back to your account.
From 1 October:
Any unused Stay Plus night converts into two Stay Plus FREE Nights (max two per membership).
Redeemed nights before 1 October won’t convert.
FREE Nights require a minimum 2‑night booking (pay for one, get one free).
FREE Night applies to the most expensive night in your booking.
The Cost — and How to Save Now
Annual membership is $349. Right now, if you buy it before 1 October 2025, you:

Final Verdict
The move to ALL Accor+ Explorer is clearly designed to give more value to frequent travellers who stay at least two nights per booking and dine in larger groups. If you’re the kind of traveller who takes longer hotel stays, eats out with friends or family, and values Gold status, this is a big win.
However, if you mostly used your Stay Plus night for single‑night city stays, or enjoyed the higher dining discount as a couple, you might find the changes less appealing.
