Qantas Business Rewards members earn an additional 3 points per $1, taking the total earn rate to 10x Qantas Points.

Compare Prices Before You Book
Although 7x Qantas Points is slightly lower than the 9x promotions we’ve seen in the past, it’s still strong value — particularly for those who qualify for the extra Points Club or Business Rewards bonuses.
That said, Qantas Hotels rates can sometimes be higher than other travel sites, so it’s worth comparing prices before you book. Sites like Booking.com, Expedia, and Hotels.com frequently have lower rates, and cashback platforms like ShopBack or TopCashback often run promotions offering 10% or more cashback.
In many cases, that cashback could outweigh the value of the extra Qantas Points, so always do the maths before committing.
Example Earn Calculation
For a $500 booking through Qantas Hotels:
You’ll earn 3,500 Qantas Points (7x).
Points Club Plus members earn 5,250 Qantas Points (7x + 50%).
Qantas Business Rewards members also earn 3x points for their business account, totalling 10x overall.
Final Thoughts
While not the most generous Qantas Hotels promotion we’ve seen, it’s still an excellent way to maximise your points earn on upcoming travel. If you can stack this with a Points Club or Business Rewards membership, the value becomes even more compelling.
