We are Aidan, Biffy + Cali 🚌🐾 Several years ago, we made the decision to step away from the norm and follow a new, unfamiliar path. Nearly 6 years, many countries, and three vans later, we can’t imagine going back to the way our lives were before. This isn’t to say that everything is easy now- quite the opposite! Living on the road full-time comes with a lot of consideration, especially in our 1993 Mercedes 410D bus, but it has opened up endless opportunities to see the world through a different lens- one that strips away the luxuries of modern living, taking us back to basics 🚍 Our travels have taken us around the UK, Europe, and Northern Africa, but a couple of years ago, we fell in love with the mountains in Central Portugal. We then found a pocket of land where we are slowly creating an off-grid homestead. This gives us a place to rest and reflect on our travels when we need a break from moving around full-time 🗺️ We are steadily transforming the land; supporting native trees, increasing plant diversity, and improving water retention, since our region experiences little or no rain for around 4 months of the year 🌧️ Our goal? To keep venturing further around the world in our old wagon and build our homestead so we, the wider community, and wildlife can flourish and become one with the tranquility of rural Portugal 🇵🇹 If you’d like to reach out, please send us a message on Instagram!
