Heart on Fire
Heart on Fire is a song about the kind of love that doesn’t simply fade away.
It’s about passion, damage, memory, and that strange place where love and pain can become tangled together. Even when something is over, the feelings can still linger — sometimes quietly, sometimes like they’re still burning.
Musically, I wanted Heart on Fire to have that big melodic rock feel: strong guitars, an emotional vocal, and a chorus that really opens up. There’s a little of that classic power-ballad spirit in there too, but the aim was to keep it raw enough that the emotion still comes through.
The vocal is deliberately pushed forward because, for me, the story matters just as much as the music.
The artwork follows the same idea. A simple heart, the title running through it, and muted silver lettering rather than something too bright or polished. I wanted it to feel mature, slightly worn, and understated — like something that has been through the fire rather than something brand new.
At its heart, the song is really about one idea:
Some love doesn’t disappear. It burns, it scars, and somehow a little of it survives.
Heart on Fire is coming from that place.
