A proposito di The Fashion Standup
a fashion studies newsletter, written by a designer.
The Fashion Standup is an independent digital publication authored by Vera Lúcia Mendes. This publication has its primary focus on the study and research of Fashion, within the reach of a few clicks. With great emphasis on independent Portuguese fashion, with some chronicles and opinions about the System as a whole along the way. This is a new way of looking at Fashion design, applied to writing, as well as entrepreneurship in Fashion, through a fundamentally digital product and concept. Where the most important thing is not the frequency and the "hunt" for clicks and views, but the relevance of the content.
The problems encountered?
1- Fashion as a business, industry and system is not written, as a primary language, in Portuguese.
2 - When writing a master's dissertation, the enjoyment and interest grows, eventually the interest in research, but this fades when thinking that few will read and reflect on what results from it.
The answer?
The Fashion Standup.
