I had planned to have a cover with a zombie on the front, but later I remembered a photo similar to this on Pixabay. I went to find that photo, but ran across this one, which was not only more suitable for Halloween, but was also composed so that it fit well into the 9:12 format I use for the magazine covers. I altered it somewhat in Pixlr. I not only cropped it a little, but I also used "auto pop" for the colors" and, if I recalled correctly, I raised the contract considerably. The original was so low contrast as to be unappealing.
