Hi, I'm Zoe, a transgender sailor. I bought a 34 foot sailing vessel to explore my love of sailing, my fascination with self-sufficiency and off grid living, and my place in the world, both figuratively and literally.

I grew up in New Zealand, but have lived for the last 23 years in London, I've been away for so long that I'm not sure where home is any more, and that's not entirely a bad thing. I'm free to explore and find where I'm most comfortable.

I've been transitioning for a year now, and that has also been a freeing experience. I just stopped caring what other people think, and decided to live how I want.

So I decided to document this journey, come along for the ride!
