Hello! I am Steph, the reader, writer, and creator behind The Abundant Word.
The Abundant Word is a space for diverse readers and writers, here for every area of bookish life. Alongside book reviews, spotlighting indie authors, and creating articles and resources for people in the book community, I also maintain the Black British Booklist, which is a project that is very close to my heart.
The Black British Booklist is a growing resource designed to improve the visibility and discoverability of Black British authors, and as many recent developments have shown, this support is needed more than ever.
At the moment, I am running everything myself (with a little technical help from my teenager). If you enjoy my work and would like to help support the time, care, and costs involved with keeping this resource growing, you can do so for the cost of a coffee or by becoming a supporter.
