Sir, I am lying in the barracks at the Goliad fort. I have rented the barracks for two nights stay. It was very appropriate for the listening of your podcast. If you haven’t stayed here you should. Judging by your love of Goliad I think you would enjoy the stay. I live a few miles from here and visit the fort often. However, nothing compares to having it to myself and walking the grounds at night. If you ever wish to stay here for the night hit me up via email. I’d be happy to treat. Sir, my father turned 82 on the 17th of this month. As a gift I booked the room for two nights. He was a history teacher, along with a principal and administrator of the school district. I thought it would be a good gift to have him stay here tonight. We are literally listening to your San Jacinto episodes as I wrote this text. We walked the grounds and are in the quarters for the night. In the morning, as a part of the room rental, we have a private tour of the museum for two hours prior to the public admittance. He is absolutely loving your podcast. He had no idea podcasts even existed. I sure hope you take me up on the offer to stay here at the fort. The burial monument is a few hundred yards from the wall.
