Hey. I am Laura.  I wish I had an elaborate story about why I started creating stuff out of clay. I imagine saying, "when I throw I feel one with nature." Or, "I am inspired by the sea and colors of insects." But, I can't.  My story is, I have been diagnosed with a mental abnormality that goes into hiding when I throw, and it is peaceful.   I create because it tames my racing thoughts and allows me to focus on one thing.  It calms me and provides instant gratification through out the process.  I see it as endorphins neatly packaged in shiny, silver candy wrappers and handed to me after a throw, after carving, after my bisque fire, after glazing and after the final fire. That is a lot of candy.  Your tea will not only be supporting a small business but my healthy mental state. Thank you for helping me live a calmer life and sharing my creations with the world.
