The Forgotten School Project is about more than restoring a building - it’s about restoring memories, purpose, and a place that once meant everything to generations of local children. What was once a fundamental part of the community has sadly been left to decay over the years, with vandalism and theft taking away even more of its history and character.
We believe this place deserves a second chance.
Our goal is to bring the forgotten school back to life, preserving its story while creating something meaningful for the community once again. Every broken window, damaged wall, and empty classroom tells a story of what has been lost.. but also what can still be saved with enough support and passion behind it.
This project is being driven by people who genuinely care about protecting local history and giving something back to the community. We know it won’t happen overnight, but with your help, we can begin restoring what was once such an important part of so many childhoods.
Whether your support is big or small, every contribution helps us move one step closer to saving this place from being forgotten forever. Your support helps fund restoration work, preservation efforts, clean-ups, security, and the tools needed to continue documenting and rebuilding the project.
Thank you for believing in what we’re trying to achieve and for helping us give the school a future once again.
