In Sri Lanka, over 3,000 lives are lost each year. That’s nearly 8 or 9 precious souls every single day. Behind every number is a family. A story. A silence. “Maaro Maaro” was created as a reminder that struggling with negative emotions does not make us weak — it makes us human. Learning to live with both our light and our shadows is part of the journey. The real strength lies in not facing it alone. This project is a call to break the silence. To start conversations. To check in on each other. To remind someone that their presence matters.
