I am Alexander and I write on the margins of philosophy where she meets the real world. Usually these take the form of a pub contemplation, but recently I have been working on some actual books.

The reason I write what I write is because I believe that philosophy is there to help us to make sense of our own absurd existence, our struggle for meaning and our strange experiences. Or at least that is what it does for me. I am here to help and hopefully tell you: ‘Hey! Come sit with me, see that thing? Isn’t that odd? Here is how you might do philosophy about it.’
