Greetings, dear pond supporters! Last month, I wrote an emotional post over at Technicolor Lily Pond about writing updates and writing memories. Since being full of stories makes me feel like I can fly and birds play a big role in two of my writing projects, I have a rather large number of bird and feather related photos in my back catalog as well as some of my recent photos. I thought that I would share them with you today. Here are some older images.
Bluejay feather? Turkey feather? Fairy feather? I don't know but it was beautiful.
I'm pretty confident that is a gull feather. With the tracks, it looks like a dinosaur ran through.
Pigeon feather? Gull feather? Sparrow feather? I'm not sure although I noticed several pigeons in the vicinity. I liked the delicacy of the feather against the blacktop.
Seeing this songbird feather on a pumpkin leaf in my frontyard brightened my day. Sparrows and sparrow feathers feature heavily in my novel-in-progress as angels. This feather struck me as a serendipitous brush with an angel in my real life and the Cinderella connection with a pumpkin plant made it feel next level. Hopefully, the above image and the close-up below bring some light to your Monday.
