Greetings, dear pond supporters! November is starting strong with the Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books on Saturday and as I wrote about recently on my blog, I'm appearing on a panel. To celebrate this big moment, I reached out to Inkish Creatives about making a logo and a bookmark that I can share at the festival. I will be sharing stickers, business cards, and a gorgeous bookmark with interested panel attendees but, moving forward, this swag will be available to pond supporters of this page as a thank you gift. Here are some sneak peek pictures:
Bookmark preview on left and stickers on the right. The Shelf Hog sticker was designed by artist Angela Lynum in honor of my past Books for Brains fundraising efforts for the National MS Society. I hope to use the design in future MS Society fundraising, too.
Above is the logo with both the icon and text. I love how it turned out and I'm excited to launch it on my blog.
Above is the event parking map for the book festival. I'm sharing this everywhere I can because I tend to get turned around by parking very easily and I figure I'm not the only one.
I seriously cannot get over how pretty this icon is for my logo. Working with Inkish Creatives was a pleasure. Angela was super responsive to my artistic esthetic and drew inspiration from my photography portfolio. I plan to share pictures from the reference album I created at her request over the coming weeks. Here is a sampling.
