Location- former custom exhaust shop that I owned and operated, in rural Wisconsin. Client gracefully situates his stainless steel dual line implementation, removing catalytic converters, adding resonators for tune and back pressure, valved mufflers via remote control for dual tone toggle- (either sport mode or the choice of extreme exhaust). After Building the client's exhaust set up from scratch over the course of about three days, the client comes to retrieve his vehicle- he's very excited, as am I, taking pride in the detail work. The client confers, we discuss requisite upkeep, styling and functionality- the client proceeds to pay- there was a friend the gentleman client brought along to the 'pick up'- this other guy- charmed, seemingly in a good mood begins to exuberantly describe his videography prowess alongside an actual Instagram scroll of content that featured sports car/action oriented capture- I immediately thought to myself; (" this could work out to be an excellent opportunity to collaborate, secure an excited artist videographer for my eventual content capture that I at the time- required per advertising needs" ). Being that the friend of my client was at my private shop location where I 'customize sports cars' in hindsight, I realize that I mistrusted his passion for the road. Because I eventually exchanged contacts with this individual, sent him an entire video concept written treatment- I ask his pricing and specifics and what not- the guy completely stonewalls me with no reply whatsoever. Confused and somewhat emotionally taught- sitting within the lounge space of my shop, I can still feel myself discussing the mis-aligned happenstance with my beloved wife. Ruminating, and still burning "why", smoke in the air, wispy, delicate and 'all telling' suddenly, I begin to understand the reason as to why the blessed gentlemen did not get back to me in accordance to the assumed project; like a slap in the face- it was obviously my duty to headway the content creation, writing, editing, music composition, performance art and Direction. Insouciantly grinning- the responsibility was so clear that I couldn't help but laugh at the obvious nature of the realization- virile and emotionally hardened, I could feel my nervous system shift into something dutifully necessary.

I felt so lucky to even begin the journey that I proceeded to dust off my GoPro camera that I purchased a few years before. I moved ahead to download an entry level videography program- fetching old video captures of my riding outings from a few years prior. From birth of TP91- I've nearly strained questioning the contents fortitude and message- contemplating incessantly; "what am I going to say, what is my unique feature, what truth can I communicate? " With these few questions weaponized- I quickly began to curate a style based on allowing the raw elements of captures- wind, VHS like video quality, naturally captured sonic levels, etcetera; to force details into the appearance, genre legitimacy and overall kinetic grasp of the rookie level content I'd bravely ventured into.
