Who is Team Erica Alex?

Hello! We're Erica and Alex, high school sweethearts addicted to adventure and exploring the world together. After traveling across the USA, Canada, and Mexico and parts of Asia and Africa in our early twenties, at the end of 2024, we left our full time jobs, put our belongings into storage, and left the US to travel the world and document our adventures full time.

What do we do?

We are traveling to every region of the world to showcase humanity's most beautiful experiences via our YouTube channel and Instagram page. This includes everything from attending festivals, trying local cuisine, navigating some of the world's biggest cities and most remote towns. You'll also find us trekking, cycling, and road-tripping across some of the planet's most incredible landscapes. We make travel guides and share stories to help you plan your next trip and hopefully entertain and inspire you as you follow our journey. In a rapidly changing world, we can't forget what makes us human and gives us purpose. We hope to highlight the timeless experiences that make us human: our cultures, cuisines, music, festivals, languages, and love stories.

Our Mission

Our goal isn't just to check off countries, it's to celebrate the beauty of humanity everywhere we go. From East Africa to South America, the Middle East to California and the Mediterranean, we want to show that the world is beautiful everywhere, especially when humans come together as a team. We should all be rooting for Team Earth.

Why do this?

Traveling full-time as a couple (or with anyone) comes with its challenges, but when working together as a team, we've been able to do some amazing things. And the benefits of collaboration and exceptional teamwork, go far beyond just marriage and traveling, they apply to humans on a planetary level! While it's great to have favorite countries and cultures as we do ourselves, when humans fail to work together, think only in black and white or rich and poor, progress for all us slows down. Life is too short to stay in our bubbles, miss out on the beauty of different cultures, and pass up the incredible opportunities we can have when we work together as fellow Earthlings.
