TD1 Radio was established on 1st December 2008 as an internet station with the aim of providing more listening choice in the Scottish Borders. Moving forward into 2015 and TD1 was granted an FM licence and on the 28th October 2024 we were given an extension to our FM licence for 5 more years, exciting times ahead for all involved at the station. Everyone involved at TD1 is a volunteer and we all work together to bring wonderful programmes with the best music old and new being playing from the station in Galashiels.
