The Barefoot Shoe Review was established in 2018, resulting from an ankle injury that Alex sustained. Following this injury, the journey of finding suitable footwear, was quite a frustrating process for Alex. For some reason his body was telling him to search for wider shoes, and therefore naturally led him down the path of barefoot footwear.
Once he found some relief in his footwear, he felt the need to spread the word to others, and that's what brings us here....
Since those humble beginnings, we have expanded with an additional reviewer - Jade (Alex's Partner), to include a female perspective, and bring whatever fresh ideas she has to the table.
