To say I'm heartbroken is an understatement. This location was where I could go to and just unwind, relax, and invest in that childlike energy that I hold so dearly. This location had a bad rep, what with the instances of crime and such that happened around it, but nonetheless this store itself was beautiful and full of that magic that we don't really feel in the Chuck E Cheese stores, nowadays. The Studio C Beta stage lights shined brightly, the animatronic stood tall and proud, his eyes darting from one side of the store to the other. Heck, I remember when I worked there I always kept an eye on him, myself. And a lot of the time I'd catch him looking over at me, as if him and I were a team watching each others' backs.
However, now this location sits as an empty shell, doomed to be erased even further as new businesses take it over and remodel the interior. I'll never forget the days I spent there listening to the CEC showtapes. The days I worked there stressed over a birthday party, a broken arcade game, or a family that decided that closing time was whenever they decided. I'll never forget the time I walked on the roof of the store and got to see the red neon lights of the exterior sign from that angle. I'll never forget walking in to that store in 2023 and seeing a CEC animatronic again for the first time since I was a preteen.
I'll never forget the location that helped me re-start my love for the ever-so-prominent Mr. Charles Entertainment Cheese.
