I joined BMC to offer a more flexible way for people to support my Substack (Earthview) and YouTube playlist (Sailing for Sustainability). I struggled with sorting out paid subscriptions, and I've got a little rant about the importance of storytelling and why I switched to keep all my content free.
On Substack, I write about Earth Law, systemic change through law and community actions, Nature Governance, and the importance of community and mental health as we face the polycrisis. My content reflects my passions:

Sailing for Sustainability is my ocean literacy campaign that documents our (my husband and I) voyage from the Netherlands all the way to California. Amidst the adventure, I’ll share fun facts about the marine ecosystems we visit, from the stormy Bay of Biscay to corals of the Caribbean, and through the Panama Canal to the Galapagos Islands. I may stop in Costa Rica to surf and visit some friends in Mexico. We’ll see where the wind takes us!
