Hi! I'm Irvin — a native Cebuano speaker from Dumaguete City and the founder of TalkBisaya.
I built this site after years of teaching Bisaya informally to foreign partners, expats, and diaspora learners who had no good free resource to turn to. Most Cebuano learning materials are either outdated, paywalled, or just not built for modern learners.
TalkBisaya is completely free — 700+ dictionary entries with pronunciation guides, example sentences, cultural notes, grammar guides, and growing every month.
Every entry is cross-checked against Wolff's Cebuano Visayan Dictionary and reviewed by native speakers before it goes live.
