I'm Talisha, a startup founder, fashion designer and builder of all things creative based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a decade-long journey in the pageantry world, I've honed my passion for design, aesthetics, and empowering others while continuously and fearlessly stepping into the unknown.In my early years, I walked the runway for bridal shows and worked as a promotional model for Fortune 500 companies like Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, and Anheuser-Busch. Fueled by my love for fashion, I launched my own line, showcasing my creations at New York Fashion Week in partnership with IMG's First Stage program.My fashion career led me to be featured in prominent publications like Elle, People Magazine, Paper Mag, and interviews with CNN across the globe.In 2020, I left the world of fashion to dive headfirst into the tech industry, teaching myself software engineering and within a year I built my first machine learning web app - a formalwear visual search engine.My journey has been gilled with triumph, and failures, but most importantly lessons and growth. I'm living proof that the impossible is attainable, and I'm just getting started.
