This post is sentimental. In November 2023, I hiked to two of Shakadang's Three Heroes in Taroko, intending to return to Qingshuidashan later.

Highlights:
The charming Dali Church
Mt. Qianliyan offers great views but is challenging.
With rock scrambles, Qingshuidashan, or Mt. Qingshui, is even more challenging, but the views are rewarding.
I also discovered indigenous tribe tours in Hualien and Taitung, offering in-depth experiences of their culture and cuisine. Tourism has been affected since the April 3 earthquake.
