Closing a Palestinian school in Lebanon

Closing a Palestinian school in Lebanon

Aug 31, 2026

imageClosing Rafah School in Tripoli, northern Lebanon, is not an administrative detail. It is another blow to Palestinian refugees.

After the Nakba, Palestinians rebuilt schools because education meant survival preserving identity, dignity, and the Right of Return.

Where is the Palestinian Authority? Refugees need schools, healthcare, dignity, and genuine representation not empty speeches.

Education is resistance. The Right of Return is non-negotiable.

As a Palestinian born in the diaspora, I will continue to stand for my people and demand that Palestinians in the diaspora are recognised and represented.

I have been called the "Ambassador of the Palestinian Diaspora." I carry that responsibility deeply.

Their fight is my fight. Their right is my right.
