Play isn’t just fun — it’s how children learn, connect, and feel safe. In uncertain times and tough spaces, play can be a lifeline. That’s why I created 365 Days of Play — a full year of simple, screen-free, development-boosting activities for babies, toddlers and children, using simple and mostly everyday materials you already have at home. These prompts are very low effort and take minutes to set up for a period of independent play. I hope they help!
This special edition is dedicated to the children of Gaza, where play is now an act of survival.
100% of proceeds go to grassroots organisations supporting families under siege — getting children what they need to survive, and hopefully, one day, thrive.
I’m Niamh – a teacher, SENDCo and mum – and I believe in the power of everyday play to bring calm, connection and joy.
