Today was a big day and I wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. After all, you were celebrated.
The SBP Podcast Mobile Filmmaking published its 200th episode today.
Thankful to all our listeners and guests, and everyone who's shared it. The podcast is a wonderful free resource for indie and smartphone filmmakers. October marks seven years running it.
Podcasting is a lot of work and I'll spare you the details. But if there is truly such a thing as a "labor of love" this is it. I know it's inspired some to make a short or feature film with an iPhone. I know because I've been told. I know sometimes, when you're feeling a little down, listening has put a smile on your face. I've experienced this myself while I'm editing and listening myself.
But the legacy it's achieved over the years is the stories the filmmakers have shared with you.

Imagine you find a band that makes music, streams it and then gives you their songs for free.
When you listen to the next episode you choose to listen to, remember this is a real gift for you. I hope everyone is inspired by the people I invite to share stories with. I suppose if I was not easy to talk to, they wouldn't share many fun and interesting stories, would they? Luckily, every guest soon realizes how passionate I am about smartphone filmmaking and is open and willing to share our conversations with you.
