If you've read my recent website posts, I've managed to get out several times this last month or two to pick up my plein air painting stuff and do some practice at just handling the paint and dealing with the outdoor situations - frequently not ideal and pretty uncomfortable in my experience.
The last year has been a difficult time to make enough time for painting due to other matters but I have managed to keep observing and sketching in my small, A6-sized sketchbook that I try to carry wherever I go, even to work, in order to remind myself to look, see, notice, even if I can't find an opportunity to open it and draw anything.
I've put a few examples in the Gallery section, some will be public, others for those who've joined me for a coffee!
