YouTube started off as a hobby. My full time job is a tech specialist for a telecommunications company. Customers book in with me to get tech help usually with their smartphones and tablets.
When my channel became monitised, I thought well this is great. A few extra quid to have at the end of the month. Then as a year passed by and Covid-19 hit, nothing made sense.
My dad unexpectedly died last year of a heart attack and my whole outlook on life changed. He always told me to stick at the YouTube. I used to show him my latest videos and you could tell he was proud.
So now I'm pushing harder at YouTube because I want to make him proud. I also want to have the freedom away from a full time job to look after my mum as she's on her own now.
So yes my overall goal is to make YouTube a full time income.
