Acerca de SubsoloFM
DJ mixes and live streams to support the Bombeiros.
PLEASE NOTE: This account is now ONLY to give financial support for the running of the channel, NOT the bombeiros! None of the money in this buymeacoffee account will go to the Bombeiros. Your support is gratefully received however!
OUR BOMBEIROS FUNDRAISER IS NOW HERE: http://4fund.com/wcrdny
You can donate there in exactly the same way as on here but the great thing about 4fund.com is that their fees are optional (unlike on here) so we can donate 100% of your donation to the Bombeiros.
WHO WE ARE
We are SubsoloFM - a YouTube channel based in Portugal dedicated to showcasing underground electronic music. Through this we aim to raise money for volunteer fire fighters in Portugal, known as the Bombeiros.
WHAT WE DO
Expect a new mix posted every Friday at 16h (PT/UK) as well as monthly live streams. Please subscribe and hit thumbs up on all the videos and audio. (LINKS BELOW).
WHY WE EXIST
Every summer in Portugal an insane amount of terrain is erased by wild fires. 2025 was one of the worst years on record with over 254,000 hectares destroyed and 118,000 hectares of forest (3.7% of the total forst area in Portugal) burnt to a crisp.*
There are a multitude of reasons these fires occur and for those who live in rural Portugal, the danger of wild fires is a fact of life. We personally know people who have lost the place they call home, more than once.
Like many nations with a low population density the fire service outside of Portuguese cities is voluntary. The vast majority of firefighters are everyday folk, office workers, labourers, factory workers, farmers. They are paid only a small daily fee to put their lives on the line to protect and save the lives and livelihoods of others.
Imagine going in to the office one morning and by the evening you're facing forty foot high flames, hot enough to burn your face off and about to engulf a famly home! Sleep? Nope. Weekend with your family? No chance. This is extreme!
It is common for fires to be attended by over 400 Bombeiros and the biggest fires, over a thousand. During the peak of fire season in 2025, 114 Bombeiros were injured in the line of duty.** The year before, three Bombeiros gave their lives battling the flames only a few hundered meters from the SubsoloFM studio.***
Portugal needs to recruit more Bombeiros, with better equipment and better training. Government funding is never enough. That is why SubsoloFM is hopes to raise money to benefit these brave men and women!
OUR GOAL
Our target is to raise €100 in the shortest time possible and then move on to the next hundred. Each time hit our targets we will create a video of the withdrawl of funds and our donation to the Bombeiros and post it on YT and Instagram (LINKS BELOW) so you can see where your money is going.
We are always looking for djs/producers to record a video at our studio in Central Portugal or even send in a video so please DM if you'd like to contribute.
Even if you are skint please subscribe, follow, like and share as this helps the channel grow!
Thanks in advance, Ant SubsoloFM
