Hi there!

My name is Yulia, and I'm a food photographer and passionate cook.

During the COVID era, I had an idea to bring like-minded people together and create a project where everyone could showcase their culinary talents. And so, in the spring of 2020, the first issue of Striped Apron was published.

Striped Apron is a magazine for food lovers. It celebrates the passion for food and the joy of cooking. It's about cooking out of love, not necessity. It's about the experiences of amateur and professional chefs experimenting with various ingredients, discovering new, unconventional combinations, and cooking techniques.

We write for those who want to amaze their loved ones with culinary masterpieces. For those who see food as more than just fuel for the body. For those who delight in the process of cooking. For those who turn meals into a pleasure. For those who are truly in love with food.

Currently, the magazine is published in Ukrainian, but I plan to release future issues in English as well.

I'm also dreaming of opening my own bakery. Right now, I am learning new techniques and figuring out how to successfully start a business. I'm actively searching for grants or financing to make this dream a reality.
