Street Art Calls is a free resource platform dedicated to connecting artists with street art festivals, mural festivals, and graffiti jams around the world. We collect and share open calls and opportunities, making it easier for artists to find their next wall, city, festival, or community to create with. Finding festival opportunities can take a lot of time. Information is often scattered across different websites, social media platforms, and personal networks. Street Art Calls was created to bring this information together in one place and make it easier to access for artists around the world.
Founded in 2021 by Yessiow, a mural artist from the small island of Bali, Street Art Calls began as a personal passion project. As an artist living outside major art hubs, finding international street art and mural festivals was often difficult. Open calls could easily be missed, information was scattered, and many opportunities were shared only through specific networks. Street Art Calls started as a simple way to collect and share festival information with friends and fellow artists. What began as a small list gradually grew into a global resource where artists can discover street art festivals and graffiti jams happening around the world. Since then, Street Art Calls has helped artists discover opportunities across continents, from small community-based mural projects to large-scale international street art festivals.
Street Art Calls is independently created and maintained by an artist, for artists. The platform is free to use because finding opportunities should not depend on who you know, where you live, or how much time you have to spend searching for information. Today, Street Art Calls has grown into a community of more than 11.5K artists and art lovers on Instagram, with new festival opportunities shared regularly. This is an ongoing project, and the festival list is continuously updated. While we do our best to keep the information accurate and current, deadlines, requirements, and festival details can change.
