Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a music teacher, a mum, and a postgraduate student in education leadership. I'm passionate about music education and quality curriculum design and it's my dream to be a school leader in music education.

I became a music teacher because I love sharing music with others, and I am a firm believer in the incredible benefits music education can have for children's learning, development, and wellbeing. I'm lucky to teach music to so many students each day. However, I've often wondered how I could reach even more students and help more teachers bring meaningful musical experiences into their classrooms.

That's why I'm building Stormusi Classroom.

Through Stormusi Classroom, I want to help teachers spend less time planning, programming, and creating resources, and more time teaching.

I also strongly believe that every child deserves access to quality music education. In many schools, music is delivered by generalist teachers who may not have had specific training in music education. I want Stormusi Classroom to help these teachers feel more confident, access practical resources, and provide students with meaningful musical experiences, regardless of whether their school has a specialist music teacher.

I would love to keep Stormusi Classroom free for music teachers and generalist teachers, so that access to useful curriculum and teaching tools isn't determined by a school's budget or a teacher's ability to pay. Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the cognitive, social, emotional, and developmental benefits of music education.

So, how does buying a coffee help me?

Building and maintaining Stormusi comes with ongoing costs. My development subscription includes a limited allocation of AI credits, which I use both to power the AI features teachers access and to build, improve, and maintain the platform. When those credits run out, I need to purchase more to keep the AI running and continue developing Stormusi. This really adds up, as I am the sole creator of Stormusi and I'm a mum only working part time. Your contribution helps cover AI costs, keep AI features active, and support the ongoing development of tools for music teachers and their students.
