The Resource Canvas a tool for starting almost anything.
What is the Resource Canvas?
So you have BIG ambitions to start something amazing. A new business, a new adventure or a new challenge. Great, but where do you even start?
I have spent the last 18 years helping more than 500 founders take their first steps towards building new high growth start ups. From crime scene apps to video games studios those that succeeded had one thing in common, their ability to quickly identify and leverage the people, support, assets, and knowledge that were immediately "to hand" and get started.
I learned that the most important step in any entrepreneurial journey is the first shaky, imperfect one. Even if you can't see the next step, or the end destination (which will change anyway), you have to start with what you have, more resources will come to you later.
So I designed the Resource Canvas to help you...
- Visualise all of the resources you already have to hand
- Combine your existing resources to make new opportunities
- Manage and grow your stakeholder group to draw in new resources
- Kick start the effectuation cycle and get your start up started!
I hope you get value from the Resource Canvas, a FREE resource to help you use the power of effectuation. If you do, buy me a coffee, and I will keep on creating and sharing useful resources. Thanks!
