I am a freelance writer now living in rural France after living for many years in the USA. I have 3 blogs on WordPress under the username itsthatwoman, one is my general interest blog, the second is about living in France and the third is all about dogs. I created my Chandhara.com website for my Afghan Hounds which I have been showing and breeding since I was a teenager in the UK. I provide it as a source of information for people interested the breed. The Afghan Hound has become a rare breed, and a lot of things you read on the internet are misleading.
I have been a writer all my life, starting with "Letters to the Editor" in my teens - yes before the internet, back in the 20th century ;) ! Back then I wrote columns and articles for print media and produced newsletters for special interest groups.
I am an un-published fiction writer, and doubt I will ever write a book, but have had many ideas that are now digitized for possible future use. I do have some some very short stories that I am happy to share to share. I did write a children's story many years ago, about a Gnome that could perform magic - but too long for the children's book market today at over 5,000 words.
I am registered in France as a self employed writer and editor and am still working in that capacity.
I am slowly renovating a 19th century stone house in rural France in a wonderfully scenic area. I also have plans to start growing flowers, plants and herbs of all kinds. Perhaps I can make that a future professional goal - that IS something that cannot be replaced by the use of AI!
