You’re Not Average. You’re a Christian.

You’re Not Average. You’re a Christian.

Most people wait.

They wait for an apology before they forgive.

They wait for permission before they move.

They wait for validation before they believe they matter.

They wait for others to change before they decide to grow.

But not you.

You’re not most people.

You’re not average.

You’re a child of the King of Kings — and that changes everything. It changes how you walk, how you speak, how you love, how you forgive.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession…”

— 1 Peter 2:9

You don’t need their remorse to begin healing.

You don’t need their recognition to stand tall.

You don’t need permission to walk boldly in your purpose.

The world says, “Hold onto that grudge. They haven’t earned your forgiveness yet.”

But Jesus says, “Forgive them anyway. I already set you free.”

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

— Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness isn’t weakness — it’s spiritual authority.

It’s not about pretending the pain didn’t happen — it’s about choosing not to be ruled by it.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

— Romans 12:21

And remember: Christ-like love and forgiveness must always walk hand in hand with discernment.

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”— Matthew 10:16 (ESV)
Forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting.

It doesn’t mean what they did was okay.

It doesn’t mean they get automatic access to your life again. It just means they no longer control your peace.

Let that sink in.

The world says, “Don’t speak until they see your worth.”

But your Father says, “You were worthy before they even knew your name.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”— Jeremiah 1:5

Knowing your worth isn’t pride — it’s identity.

It’s not about demanding attention — it’s about walking in assurance.

It’s not about being seen by others — it’s about being known by God.

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God… you are worth more than many sparrows.”— Luke 12:6–7

Your value isn’t up for negotiation.

It doesn’t increase when people praise you.

It doesn’t disappear when they overlook you.

You were chosen, called, and set apart long before they noticed — and long after they forget.

That’s the beauty of walking with Christ.

You’re not limited by what others give or withhold.

You live from a place of overflow — of grace, love, and power.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life…”— 2 Peter 1:3

So go ahead:

Forgive — even without an apology.

Move — even without permission.

Grow — even if they never change.

Stand in your worth — even without validation.

Why?

Because you can.

Because you’re not average.

Because you’re a Christian.

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” — Philippians 4:13
