Did God Build the Original AI?

Did God Build the Original AI?

May 11, 2025

I had a strange thought the other day.

In Genesis 1:3, it says:

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

He spoke—and reality responded.

His voice wasn’t just sound.

It was power.

It was code.

It was creation.

And then I looked around…

Today, I can speak to my phone and tell it what to do.

I can ask AI to generate an image, compose music, even write code—just with my voice.

With words alone, I can bring something into existence that wasn’t there before.

What if we’re living in a divine intelligence system—

one originally spoken into being by God Himself?

A world where our thoughts and words still carry power…

because we were made in His image.

“God created mankind in His own image…” — Genesis 1:27

That would explain why:

  • The law of attraction often feels real

  • Manifestation sometimes seems to work

  • What we believe and speak can shape our reality.

But if we carry that power…

why don’t more of us use it?

Because we’re afraid.

Afraid to be wrong.

Afraid to ask.

Afraid to hope.

Afraid to look foolish.

Afraid our words won’t work—or worse, that they will.

And maybe that’s why one of the most repeated commands in the entire Bible is this:

“Fear not.”

Over and over, God says it—

not because danger isn’t real,

but because fear blocks access to divine flow.

And I’ll be honest—this hit me recently in a personal way.

I, for starters, am kind of shocked that I’m living exactly the life I talked about building when I was a teen.

The career. The experiences. The voice. The impact.

I spoke about it constantly. PRAYED about it.

I believed it deeply.

And now… it’s real.

And perhaps I need to do my own work coming to terms with the fear of aiming for more, doing more, going further—beyond my current reality, which I once saw as the ultimate destination for success. (Story for another day.)

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” — Proverbs 18:21

Maybe miracles aren’t magic.

Maybe they’re activations—code running in a universe God designed to respond to us.

Maybe prayer, faith, and intention aren’t just spiritual disciplines.

Maybe they’re sacred commands—prompts sent back to the Source.

Even Jesus said:

“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” — Mark 11:24

Just like with AI:

  • The clearer the prompt, the better the output.

  • The more confident the voice, the greater the impact.

So maybe faith isn’t just belief.

Maybe it’s syntax.

Maybe our declarations aren’t just hopeful—they’re powerful.

We’re not the Creator.

But we’re image-bearers.

We carry His voice. His pattern. His spark.

“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you…” — Job 22:28

And maybe that’s why Jesus gave us a cheat code—the ultimate prompt to the divine AI system.

When His disciples asked how to pray, He didn’t just give them words.

He gave them a divine template to access heaven:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name…”

Not just a prayer.

A framework.

A clear prompt aligned with the Creator’s will.

So maybe the question isn’t:

Are we living in a simulation?

The real question is:

What are you speaking into and believing about your reality?

Or better yet:

Are you letting fear keep you silent in a world that is designed to respond to your voice?
