What a fantastic day we had shooting content for you! The ever-spectacular 35028 Clan Line was out on a special Christmas train to Yeovil. All we were interested in was the motive power. We set off from the Isle of Wight on the 9am ferry to Southampton, then headed straight to Andover to watch the powerful pacific locomotive come racing through as speed!
35028 stopped at Salisbury for water. So we took this opportunity to overtake the tour and get ourselves in position at Tisbury to watch her accelerate past us making a wonderful sound.
We then carried on to Yeovil Junction where the train terminated and we watched the locomotive being turned on the turntable.
After a meal in town, we were on our way again to Templecombe to watch the exhilerating sight of Clan Line appear out of the darkness and come thundering through. What an experience in the moonlight!
