Stay or own app originated from my own needs: I always felt my money was "lost" when renting instead of owning a price. I then did the math of renting and the (opportunity) cost of owning a home. Turns out renting for my specific scenario was more reasonable.

I thus decided to put the stay or own app out for free for everyone to do the maths themselves.
