Lost in a sea of despair
As I move thought the hours of each given day
Filled with meaningless tasks and numerous to do lists
The multitude of voices blending together into a chaotic echo
Tears prick at my eyes unable to hold them at bay they stream down my cheeks everyday
Exhausted by what must be done
I continue to show up to push through to do all that is asked of me
As I’m silently drowning in the sea
I look towards the shore where all the onlookers are
Watching me struggle, judging my actions
As the wave continue to pummel me
Lost in a sea of despair
Oh woe is me
How dare I declare
