Art project
Hi, I’m Nadia — a writer with a Drama degree, a love for storytelling, and a tendency to fall down research rabbit holes. I write about arts, culture, travel, and the odd bit of lifestyle (I know, it’s a lot).
Since moving to Berlin, I’ve immersed myself in the arts scene working with creatives while slowly digesting the German language along the way. I’ve built a career in tech operations, so I know how to bring structure to the chaos.
I offer ghostwriting, editing, and copywriting services.
Sprachspiel
Nadia Cheung presents Sprachspiel — a journey into the idioms and expressions of the German language. What began as a language practice project has grown into something more: a collection of idioms gathered through conversations with friends and personal research, exploring their traditions, origins, and use in the modern day.
The project includes several interactive elements. Four different zine editions of German Idioms are available, each offering space to illustrate or jot down something that inspires you. Visitors can also explore the full database of over 90 idioms collected so far.
