Why Spicy Thinkers Exists
Too many bright kids get told they're "bad at school" when really, school just isn't built for them.
Spicy Thinkers is an education platform for kids who think differently — students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and anyone who doesn't thrive with worksheets and timed quizzes. Our goal is simple: build learning tools so fun and engaging that kids forget they're learning.
What we're building:
🎮 A math adventure game where equations transform into gem puzzles, locked doors, and magical challenges. Kids type in their actual homework problems and the game turns each one into a quest. It never looks like a worksheet.
📚 A growing toolkit of free reading tools, including our Speed Reader (using Rapid Serial Visual Presentation to help kids read 2-3x faster without losing their place) and a coming-soon Reading Comprehension Helper that guides students to insights about themes, conflicts, and characters in their reading assignments.
Every tool is designed for real homework — not generic practice problems. We want every kid who struggles with traditional learning to come home from school and find a tool that actually meets them where they are.
