I've just been watching your video about free octopus energy (automation). I'd love to have a go at this but I'm not sure how these instructions talk to your devices - how difficult is it to set up?
I have a Tesla powerwall3, solar panels (not relevant to this), Hypervolt EV charger for PHEV and I'm thinking of getting an Octopus heat pump (probably cosy6).

Thank you for the coffee! Connecting a device to Home Assistant is not standardised - it really depends on the device. For example, your Powerwall can be connected, but you only get read-only data and no control (apart from to take you off grid). I don't have any experience of Hypervolt, but I do know the Cosy 6 exposes most of its sensors via the Octopus Energy cloud API through the Octopus Energy integration in Home Assistant.

Thank you very much! Home Assistant is a time sapping black hole so be certain that's what you want before you go that way. It is a lot of fun though :)
