When I first thought about coming to Poland, my mind was filled with the same dreams many Nepali students carry—better education, international exposure, financial stability, and a chance to build a future that feels secure. Today, living in Poland and sharing my journey through Space of Avinash on YouTube and Nepali Life in Poland on Instagram, I feel a strong responsibility to speak honestly about what life here truly looks like.
This article is not meant to discourage anyone. It is meant to inform, prepare, and create awareness, especially for Nepali students who are planning to come to Poland without fully understanding why they are coming and what they will actually get.

Why Poland Attracts Nepali Students
Poland has become an attractive destination for Nepali students mainly because of:
Relatively affordable tuition fees
Easier student visa process compared to some Western countries
Opportunity to work part-time while studying
A gateway to Europe and international exposure
On paper, everything looks promising. Education agents often highlight only the positives, creating an image of a smooth and comfortable life. But real life, as many of us discover after arriving, is much more complex.
The Reality of Student Life in Poland
Student life in Poland is not easy, especially in the beginning.
Most Nepali students face:
Language barriers, as Polish is widely used in daily life and workplaces
Physically demanding jobs, often in warehouses, factories, or cleaning sectors
Mental pressure, balancing work, studies, finances, and family expectations
Loneliness and cultural shock, especially during the first year
Many students arrive thinking they will earn enough easily to cover tuition, rent, and savings. The reality is that money comes with hard labor, long shifts, and sometimes unstable work schedules.
This is why I always say:
👉 Don’t come to Poland just because others are coming.
Why You Should Clearly Know Your Purpose
Before coming to Poland, every student should ask themselves:
Am I coming primarily to study or only to earn?
Can I handle physical work along with academic pressure?
Do I have emergency savings for the first few months?
Am I mentally prepared to live far from family?
Poland can give you opportunities—but only if you come with clarity and realistic expectations. Without that, many students struggle, feel trapped, or lose motivation.
Nepali Community and Support
One of the strongest positives of life in Poland is the growing Nepali community. From sharing rooms and job information to celebrating festivals together, the community becomes a second family.
Through my content, I try to:
Share real student experiences, not filtered success stories
Explain student visa processes and mistakes to avoid
Show daily life, work reality, and travel experiences
Help students make informed decisions, not emotional ones
What Poland Can Give You—If You Are Prepared
If you come with the right mindset, Poland can offer:
International education and European exposure
Personal growth and independence
Work experience and discipline
A stepping stone to future opportunities
But it will not give you instant success, easy money, or a shortcut to Europe.
My Message to Future Students
Through my YouTube channel Space of Avinash and Instagram page Nepali Life in Poland, my goal has always been simple:
🟢 Come prepared
🟢 Come informed
🟢 Come with a clear “why”
If my experiences can help even one student avoid mistakes or make a better decision, then sharing this journey is worth it.
Poland is not a dreamland—but for those who understand its reality, it can be a meaningful chapter of life.
