Preparing for people to see you naked! That’s never an easy task unless you’re used to the freedom due to your hobbies or work profession.

These are things that I feel aren’t talked about enough within the Onlyfans community itself especially for newcomers looking into creating a new profile and aren’t aware of what comes with it.

Yes. If you are promoting yourself correctly and pushing to get yourself out there then you must sell what your fans are looking to buy. Everyone just about has some form of social media nowadays and there’s a chance that one of those people may be someone that knows you. Prepare yourself to have that conversation or a little speech already put together if you know it makes you uncomfortable to discuss, as long as you are comfortable and confident in the content that you create then that is your decision to make.
Talk with your close friends.
Everyone needs a support system and having a close friend that you can share this journey with is even better. Discuss pros and cons especially if you are unsure about creating an account, maybe it’s just not for you and that’s ok!
Your content does NOT stay on Onlyfans.
Onlyfans is a huge network, and with that being said what you post on Onlyfans can be leaked online or be on a website related specifically to Onlyfans Model Leaks. Catfishing or stealing someone’s photos is another popular scenario that could happen so it’s great to use watermarks on your pictures. (Even that isn’t 100%) This is not something that you can control due to…well The Internet! Whatever you post online is 9 times out of 10 going to be there forever.
Be Aware Of Scammers!
People that offer to be real photographers so that they can see your “work.” If you promote on Instagram there are plenty of troll/fake accounts that will contact you trying to “give you free money.”
Someone that wants to buy custom content from you will be direct and usually ask for your payment method followed by sending the money immediately. NEVER send money to receive money, that is the biggest scam that they try to use. Always use your good judgment.
You are going to talk to a lot of people.
Networking involves communicating with potential subscribers, putting your material out there and selling yourself. Not everyone is going to pay for your Onlyfans, it’s very common to come across “strays” trying to milk your content for free or asking for pictures/videos. Stick to your guns and have them subscribe to you or support you in another way as a trade. Don’t give your content away for free.
Everyone doesn’t pay for Onlyfans.
A good option to have is a personal menu of custom content that you create that you can sell outside of Onlyfans for Cashapp, Paypal (whatever payment method you use) transactions. Sometimes you will find people that are will to pay for all of your content but they just don’t want to subscribe through Onlyfans or have reoccurring payments linked to their debit/credit card. Dropbox is another great alternative as well to sell your content in through folders specified by category.
