If you knew the roads I’ve walked, you’d understand why I believe in God the way I do.
I could give you a thousand testimonies, moments when He protected me, guided me, and lifted me out of places I thought I’d never escape.
Looking back, I can see His hand in everything.
Even the pain. Even the waiting.
And though I don’t always see what He’s doing right now, I’ve learned that it isn’t my business to understand it all. My business is to keep going, to keep helping, and to stay faithful in the small things.
Home Sweet MO Haven Solutions started as a way to serve others, to create peace and hospitality where there was once chaos. It was my way of saying, “Let me help you find rest.” But over time, I realized God was teaching me through that work, showing me that true haven isn’t just found in clean spaces or cozy rentals. It’s in people. It’s in community.
Then, in the quiet moments when I questioned if I was doing enough, Tuck Your Scared In was born.
A reminder that courage doesn’t mean the fear disappears, it means we carry it with faith.
And that’s when everything started to make sense.
Every bit of hardship, every tear, every late-night prayer, it all led here.
To this work. To this calling. To this mission of bringing hope back to the forgotten corners of southwest Missouri.
I don’t know exactly what’s ahead, but I know Who’s leading the way.
So I’ll keep building havens, keep lighting candles in dark places, and keep reminding others that they are not alone.
Because if we work together, if we show up for one another, we can make a difference that stretches far beyond our own lives.
