Nevertheless, it is almost "obligatory" to make an offering to the diviner or the person conducting a ritual.
Therefore, the requester is expected to bring an offering that they themselves deem appropriate for the conclusion of the event, typically presented at the end of the session.
The person requesting a card reading should avoid crossing their legs, arms, or fingers during the session. It's believed that any crossed sitting position acts as a block for the reading's flow between the reader and the requester.
Additionally, it's crucial to approach the readings with a clear mind, free from anxiety or panic. These emotional states can significantly influence the outcome of the reading.
During live readings, it's essential to refrain from interrupting or pressuring the reader with additional questions, and patience is key. Such behavior disrupts the reader's flow of thought and detrimentally impacts the reading experience. Instead, it's advisable to save questions for the end of each answer. It's important to acknowledge that the reader serves as your intermediary with the Divine, so maintaining respect throughout the process is crucial.
The 3-call rule dictates that in the hereditary school, "calls" refer to requests for readings on the same topic. A person is limited to three readings on a particular question, after which the topic is deemed "consumed." This rule applies primarily to short-term requests. For instance, in a love reading, the requester can seek clarifications through additional readings during the initial session, totaling three calls including the first reading. Once these three calls are used, the requester must wait until the cards are "consumed" or until the reading deadlines have expired.
